Selena Gomez claims to be still searching for her crush
The singer and actress shared her thoughts on looking for love in a TikTok video posted Wednesday
Selena Gomez seems to be searching for love.
The 30-year-old actress and singer uploaded a video on TikTok on Wednesday in which she was seen lip-syncing to the lyrics: “Girls who exclaim, “Oh my God, my crush doesn’t even know that I exist,” irritate me. Like, girl, I don’t even have a crush on you!”
The Only Murders in the Building star captioned the video, “Still out here lookin’ for him hehe,” while sporting a pink button-up shirt and wearing her brunette hair in curls.
Gomez dated The Weeknd and Nick Jonas in the past. She also had an eight-year on-and-off relationship with musician Justin Bieber.
Most recently, Gomez was connected to Drew Taggart of The Chainsmokers after the two were sighted together at a bowling alley together in January. Gomez silenced any dating rumors, however, when she confirmed she was single in a since-deleted Instagram post.
The “Wolves” singer’s TikTok was shared after she recently became involved in online squabbles with Kylie Jenner, Hailey Bieber, and her ex’s model wife.
After Gomez’s joke about over-laminating her eyebrows in an Instagram Story from last month, several users on social media accused Jenner and Bieber of mocking Gomez after they posted about their own brows on Instagram as well.
Nevertheless, the 25-year-old Jenner and Gomez quickly refuted the accusations, with the founder of Kylie Cosmetics commenting on a TikTok about Gomez’s eyebrow posts. “This is a stretch. I never made fun of Selena, and I missed her posts about her eyebrows. Your team is creating something from nothing. This is ridiculous,” she penned.
Gomez concurred with Jenner’s remarks and added, “Agreed @kyliejenner. It’s all unnecessary. I’m a fan of Kylie!” in the comments section, according to Hollywood Life.
Gomez then found herself caught up in some more drama with Bieber, 26, however, when she responded to a resurfaced video of her mocking best friend Taylor Swift.
In a clip, showed Bieber on her old musical reality show Drop the Mic, the model pretended to gag and stuck her finger in her mouth when co-host Method Man referenced “Taylor Swift’s last album.”
Showing her support for Swift, 33, in the comments section of the viral video on TikTok, Gomez wrote, “So sorry, my best friend is and continues to be one of the best in the game.”
Gomez later released another TikTok amid the uproar, pleading with viewers to be more compassionate because her “heart has been heavy.”
“I appreciate you and adore you all. I’m incredibly appreciative of every single one of you. You truly brighten my day “In a makeup tutorial’s comments area, the founder of Rare Beauty wrote.
After a little hiatus from social media, Gomez added in a second comment, “Please, please, consider others’ mental health and practise kindness. I only want what is best for everyone, and my heart has been heavy. All my love.”
