After Zen’s death, Alyssa Scott is expecting her third child with Nick Cannon

Nick Cannon and Alyssa Scott share a son Zen, who died at 5 months old after being diagnosed with brain cancer

Family growth is occurring for Alyssa Scott.

The model, who had a child with Nick Cannon named Zen who passed away at the age of five months in December 2021, is pregnant with her third child, she said on Instagram on Wednesday. Scott withheld any additional information.

In a photograph that showed her baby belly hidden by a bodycon dress, Scott announced her pregnancy. In the image, Scott is seen holding his ex-4-year-old girlfriend’s daughter Zeela while wearing matching blue clothing embroidered with the same flower.

“With you by my side… 🤍,” she captioned the post.

Scott and Cannon’s son Zen died at five months old in December 2021 after being diagnosed with brain cancer.

Cannon, 42, revealed on his self-titled talk show in December 2021 that his and Scott’s young son Zen had passed away from brain cancer, which the child’s doctor had identified three months earlier.

A cancerous tumour and fluid buildup inside the baby boy’s head were detected shortly after delivery, necessitating brain surgery. Unfortunately, Cannon continued, saying that around Thanksgiving of last year, Zen’s health deteriorated as the “tumour began to grow a lot faster.”

“We were faithful and hopeful for that time,” Cannon said on his talk show at the time. “We carried on, he was still just playing with his brothers and sisters, I embraced every moment.”

Cannon continued by commending Scott for being “Simply the toughest woman I’ve ever seen, she never got into a fight or lost her temper. was sensitive when necessary, but she was always and will always be the best mother.”

In addition to Zen, Cannon, and model Brittany Bell are parents to daughter Powerful Queen, 19 months, sons Rise Messiah, 5 weeks, and Golden Sagon, 5.

He is also the father of 11-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with his ex-wife Mariah Carey, as well as 16-month-old twins Zion and Zillion with Abby De La Rosa, who is presently expecting her third child. He also has a 3-month-old boy named Legendary Love with model Bre Tiesi and a recently-born daughter named Onyx Ice Cole with former Price Is Right model LaNisha Cole.
