Post Malone Hospitalized for a Week After Stage Fall; Boston Show Cancelled

“I felt so good last night, but today it felt so different than it has before,” the rapper tweeted Saturday. “I’m having a very difficult time breathing and there’s like a stabbing pain whenever I breathe or move.”

Post Malone was admitted to the hospital again on Saturday after complaining of trouble breathing and stabbing pain on social media, causing him to cancel a gig in Boston.

He had gone to the hospital for the second time in roughly a week. After falling into a hole on stage at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis last weekend, he was treated for bruised ribs.

“On tour, I generally wake up around 4 p.m., and today I awoke to a cracking sound on the right side of my body,” he tweeted on Saturday. “I felt great last night, but today felt completely different.” I’m having difficulty breathing, and there’s  like a stabbing pain whenever I breathe or move.”

He promised to postpone the performance.

“I adore you all.” I feel bad, but I promise I’ll make it up to you. “I love you Boston, I’ll see you soon,” the singer, Austin Richard Post, wrote.

In a tweet, the venue, TD Garden, stated that the event had been “postponed due to unforeseen circumstances,” and that tickets for Saturday’s show would be honored for a rescheduled date.

On Tuesday, Malone will perform in Cleveland.
