Devin Booker, Kendall Jenner’s ex, appears to be dissed by Bad Bunny in a new song
“But the sun in Puerto Rico is hotter than in Phoenix, she knows it,” the musician sings on the track “Coco Chanel”
Bad Bunny is making waves with his new lyrics because some people believe that his appearance on the song “Coco Chanel” serves as a dig at Devin Booker, the ex-boyfriend of Kendall Jenner. Then 26-year-old Booker even seemed to reply!
Benito makes an appearance in the new Eladio Carrión song, and he allegedly alludes to the Phoenix Suns, the NBA player’s current franchise, in it.
“Yo no soy malo, nah, bebé, eso e’ un gimmick / Pero el sol de PR calienta má’ que el de Phoenix / Ella lo sabe,” Bunny says, which ultimately translates to, “I’m not bad, baby that’s a gimmick / But the sun in Puerto Rico is hotter than in Phoenix / She knows it.”
Elsewhere in the song, Bunny raps “las de escorpio son peligro,” which translates to “Scorpio women are dangerous.” Jenner, a Scorpio, was born on Nov. 3, 1995.
Although Bad Bunny avoided naming names, fans assume that the single phrase refers to Booker, who made his Instagram relationship with Jenner official on February 14, 2021. Several sources said in November 2022 that Jenner and the NBA guard had broken up the previous month because of their jobs.
On the other side, Benito and Jenner “are spending time together,” a source said last month. Jenner and Bunny were reportedly on a double date with Hailey and Justin Bieber in February when they were seen leaving the same Los Angeles eatery, according to TMZ.
“Kendall recently started hanging out with him,” another source said last month. “They were introduced by friends. He moved to L.A. a few weeks ago and bought a house. She likes him and is having fun. He is different from the guys who she dated in the past. He is very charming.”
Fans have been sharing screenshots of a now-deleted Instagram comment from Booker that appeared to be in response to Bunny’s most recent songs as the couple is supposedly enjoying their time together, according to the U.S. Sun. The NBA guard reportedly wrote, “He concerned about another Dude again.
Representatives for Bad Bunny, Jenner, and Booker/the Suns organization did not immediately reply to requests for comment.
In other Bunny news, this month on The Late Late Show, the Puerto Rican pop icon took part in a brand-new episode of Carpool Karaoke with James Corden. In it, Bunny showcased renditions of some of his songs as well as some of his favorite Harry Styles and Ariana Grande songs.
After singing “Dakiti,” Bunny revealed to Corden that he nearly didn’t make it to his opening performance at the 2023 Grammy Awards as a result of “the L.A. traffic.”
“I was freaking out… I was sweating. Two minutes from the Crypto Arena, I was very nervous. I was very anxious, ’cause I was the opening act,” he recalled. “I had to work out. The rehearsal was at 9 a.m. The Grammys, 5 p.m. What I’m supposed to do the whole day? I talked that day, I said, ‘I have time to go into my home, working out, take a shower and go back, and everything’s going to be alright. But I think I learned a big lesson.”
