Ted Lasso’s season 3 trailer is a Lovefest!
Only prodigal coach Nate is left out of the smiles and huddles as the Apple TV+ series sets up a clash between AFC Richmond and West Ham, where Nate defected at the end of season 2
As AFC Richmond lace up their cleats once more, the official trailer for Ted Lasso season 3 has been released!
The trailer, which is largely wordless, teases an emotional season for the sports comedy. It begins with Richmond having a busy game day. Richmond’s locker room is prettier than ever, despite the fact that it doesn’t seem like they are winning every game.
Sam Obisanya (Toheeb Jimoh) and Jamie Tartt (Phil Dunster), who is now blonde, lead a charitable chant in the locker room. The group yells, “I love you all so very much!” as they form a huddle and place their hands in the middle.
Even Roy (Brett Goldstein), the team’s coach, has some kind words to say about them.
“Well done!” Coach Ted (Jason Sudeikis) remarks, “Whoa, Roy Kent just said a great job,” as Coach Beard (Brendan Hunt) pretends to faint in response to Roy’s call to a player.
While this is happening, classic Lasso customs like cheers at the neighborhood pub, biscuits with the boss, and wondering what will happen to Roy and Keeley continue (Juno Temple).
However, it’s not exactly a happy atmosphere. AFC Richmond and West Ham, where former waterboy-turned-coach Nate (Nick Mohammed) has picked up a new coaching position, have a new rivalry that began at the end of season 2. Nate has turned grey and is seen alone with a glass of red wine following the shocking betrayal.
Nate’s rivalry with his former team will undoubtedly continue in the third season, as seen in a confrontation between Nate and Ted in the season 3 First Look that Apple TV+ released last month.
