‘Emily in Paris’ returns for another season!

The Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated Netflix series, starring Lily Collins, was renewed for a third and fourth season in April

Season 3 of Emily in Paris is all about rosé champagne and smoldering stares. !

On Thursday, Netflix released many First Look photographs from the series’ third season, including some of Lily Collins’ title character Emily, who seemed to be living her best life after the season 2 finale left viewers wondering if Emily will ever leave Paris.

According to the streamer, Emily is still in the City of Light in Season 3, but she is now “at a critical crossroads in every facet of her existence.”

“Faced with two very different paths, Emily will have to decide exactly where her allegiance lie – at work and in her romantic life,” the synopsis teases, undoubtedly referring to a love triangle simmering at Chez Lavaux between Emily, Gabriel (Lucas Bravo), and Alfie (Lucien Laviscount).

According to the press release, Emily’s decisions this season will define “her future in France,” and she will continue to “immerse herself in the experiences and unforeseen twists and turns that life in Paris affords.”

Emily in Paris premiered on Netflix in October 2020. Created by Darren Star, the series follows Chicago native Emily Cooper (Collins) as she heads to France’s capital to help bring an American perspective to top-tier French marketing firm Savoir.

Ashley Park, Camille Razat, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Samuel Arnold, and Bruno Gouery also star in the series.

Since its debut, Emily in Paris has received several Emmy nominations as well as multiple Golden Globe nominations. In April, Netflix renewed the series for a third and fourth season.

Season 3 filming began in June.

Star has revealed his willingness to go deeper into Emily’s past, hinting at what’s to come.

“I really enjoy how Emily integrates into French culture, and I love seeing the progression and metamorphosis of someone who’s made Paris their home and how that transforms them,” he told Entertainment Tonight in December 2021.  “What we really haven’t seen — except for Madeline (Kate Walsh), who gets it a little bit — is Emily’s relationship with the people she left behind and how being an expatriate for a longer period of time changes her relationship with her home.”
