Sarah Hyland has her Bachelorette trip during a wild trip to Mexico
Before Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams tied the knot, the ‘Modern Family’ star enjoyed a ‘magical’ bachelorette party in Mexico that included Vanessa Hudgens and the rest of her bridal party.
“Bachelorette trip of my dreams,” Sarah Hyland captioned the July 14 photo she posted to Instagram. In the pic, Sarah, 31, stands on a boat while surrounded by her bridesmaids, including Ashley Newbrough, Kimberly Daugherty, GG Magree, and Vanessa Hudgens.
The trip to Casa Aramara, Mexico, was in celebration of Sarah’s upcoming nuptials with Wells Adams, and she apparently had a blast. “I love these humans with all of my heart and feel so much gratitude for the space we hold for each other. You all are MAGIC.” she wrote.
The bride-to-be dressed in theme, wearing a white one-piece bathing suit with the word “Bride” emblazoned on the front. Sarah completed her look with a matching sunhat, a rhinestone cover-up skirt, and pink heart-shaped sunglasses. Vanessa also followed suit, sporting a black-and-white “bridesmaid” bathing suit. Her bold red lip and chunky gold-chain necklace made it look oh-so-chic!
Sarah’s bachelorette party proved memorable, as the source reveals the group let loose and participated in a lot of activities.
Sarah also documented the trip on her Instagram Story. She captioned a photo of herself boarding a private plane, “Bachelorette trip of a lifetime with the best folks I know.” She labeled the post with the hashtag #SarahDidWells, which was also spelled out in balloons at the Mexican resort where she stayed. She also posted a photo of a “tequila tasting with the crew,” as well as one of Alyx Andrushuk and Kim swinging.
Others on this trip posted films and photographs to their Instagram accounts. “The queen of bachelorettes!” Ashley captioned her video with a vacation review. “Thank you so much, @casaaramara!” You are a wonderful host and a mental retreat I want to visit several times a day.”
Overall, the bachelorette party was a success, according to the source, who adds, “It was a terrific weekend celebrating Sarah and she had joy with her pals.”
Sarah and Wells’ wedding planning is already underway. Sarah attended a bridal shower in early June and showed off the custom enamel clutch she received, which had “Mrs. Adams” embossed in gold lettering.
“Words cannot convey how much love and excitement I felt this day,” she posted on Instagram on June 15. “I am eternally grateful to these goddesses.”
Sarah and Wells, both 38, have been engaged for nearly three years. The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted their wedding plans, but Wells says they’re still going to go ahead with it — even though they already feel like husband and wife. “We recently purchased a home together, and I feel like once you do that, you’re married… But I absolutely want the huge ceremony with all the pomp and circumstance because I want everyone to witness and celebrate our love… and I want a bunch of gifts from rich Hollywood types!” the Bachelor in Paradise bartender revealed in an interview.
“We both love to watch TV. We do very well lounging together. I like to cook, she likes to eat. We’ve got some cute dogs that keep us entertained. We’re a good team,” he added. “I know that’s not the most romantic thing to say, but being on someone’s team, and being super supportive is really helpful in relationships, especially if you’re going to get married. I think we have that in spades.”
The couple also recently expressed that they’re hopeful they’ll get to exchange vows this summer.
