London Socialite’s Mystery Man is Cypriot Playboy, Michalis Timinis

Tongues have been wagging in London and Cyprus since The Mail published a photo and story about British socialite, Lady Victoria Hervey, and a ‘mystery man’ leaving Loulou’s, the achingly posh and trendy London nightclub.

Lady Victoria is a scion of the tragic Hervey family, Marquesses of Bristol (both her brothers died early, respectively from drug abuse and suicide), and is well-known on the London party scene. Interest was piqued when the Daily Mail ran a picture of her and a new man: who was he?

NewsZoom.click can reveal he is ageing Cypriot playboy, Michalis (‘Michael’) Timinis.

Timinis is a member of the luxury goods retailing, wealthy, Timinis family of Cyprus.

Timinis is also ex-husband of the glamorous Emily Yiolitis (Cypriot Minister of Justice 2020/2021). She is now partnered with Chrysanthos Tsouroullis, boss of one of Cyprus’s biggest media groups.

However the Timinis/Yiolitis divorce case, heard in the family court of Limmasol, Cyprus suggests that Timinis hardly has the money to fund his playboy lifestyle. In court, Timinis claimed he couldn’t afford the €2,500 per month in child support, his ex-wife sought, for their now 14-yo daughter.

The judge agreed Timinis earned just €1,600 a month after becoming estranged he says from his wealthy family (the toxic fallout with his uncles over his late father’s inheritance). The court decided the near-destitute, ageing playboy, only had to pay just €600 a month for the welfare and upkeep of his daughter.

Timinis appears to be living a luxurious lifestyle outside of Cyprus and the source of his wealth is unclear. In addition to frequent trips to Paris and Milan, Timinis has spent considerable time in London, where he stays for extended periods at the Chesterfield Hotel in Mayfair, where even single rooms cost a minimum GBP £300 a night for a single bed room; to over GBP £1,000 a night for an executive suite.

Timinis regularly frequents Loulou’s (also known as 5 Hertford Street), a private members’ club in the exclusive Mayfair district of London. Loulou’s is described by Spears magazine as the “most influential members club in the world”.
