During a surprise visit, Kim Kardashian teaches Harvard students
Sources confirm that the SKIMS founder’s stint as a guest lecturer at Harvard Business School will be featured later this year on Hulu’s The Kardashians
Kim Kardashian arrived at Harvard University on Friday, accompanied by television cameras.
On Friday morning, the 42-year-old reality TV personality and entrepreneur paid a surprise visit to Harvard Business School as a guest lecturer for the fourth-annual part of the “Moving Beyond Direct-to-Consumer” session hosted by entrepreneurs. The visit caught many employees and students off guard since most were unaware she and SKIMS co-founder Jens Grede would be in attendance.
Dressed in a wide-leg pinstripe black pantsuit and black leather trench coat with pointy-toed boots, Kim was dropped off at HBS on Friday morning and “was basically whisked inside the building,” according to an attendee. She joined the classroom session and discussed her various business ventures.
“She talked about what she’d been working on and this new private equity firm and SKIMS,” one attendee said. “She was sitting off to the side but was still involved with the lecture.”
Kim drew the attention of waiting cameras as she exited the school, but she still had time to embrace fans and admirers.
“She looked exactly like she did on TV. She was lovely, and she looked precisely as pictured. That’s exactly how she appears, “the person explained. “As she walked away, she waved and said hello to us.”
Before her Harvard session, Kardashian drove past and took a photo of The Embrace on Boston Common. The new memorial honors Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King.
Earlier in the day on Friday, Kardashian went to Equinox at the Ritz-Carlton, Boston Common for a workout, where she was seen utilizing the stair-climber equipment.
Her, on the other hand, the visit didn’t prove to be a long one. After flying into Boston late Thursday evening, Kardashian’s private plane had already departed Boston by Friday afternoon.
Sources tell PEOPLE that Kardashian’s trip to Harvard will be included on The Kardashians, which airs exclusively on Hulu.
Kardashian later documented her visit in an Instagram picture on Saturday, describing it as a “#BucketListDream.”
“Yesterday, I spoke at Harvard Business School for a program called HBS Moving Beyond DTC. The class project was to learn about @skims, so my colleague Jens and I discussed our marketing, obstacles, and greatest successes “She titled the post. “I’m extremely proud of Skims, and the fact that it’s being examined at Harvard is incredible!!! Thank you for having us, Professor Len Schlesinger and @harvardhbs.”
