A collection of Parton thanking her supporters may be seen in another recent video. Other examples include a “Better late than never!” post, a “I’ve officially joined TikTok” video, a humorous look at Dolly’s various personalities on various social media platforms, and a tribute to TikTok users who have featured the singer in their content, all set to the song “9 to 5”, which Parton recently performed in a duet with Kelly Clarkson.

According to the ByteDance-owned app, Parton is already extremely well-liked on TikTok: Videos with the hashtags #DollyParton and #DollyTok have amassed 6.4 billion video views as of right now. According to TikTok, the #DollyTok subcommunity celebrates her songs, movies, and larger-than-life presence through daily postings. The most popular Dolly Parton songs on TikTok are “9 to 5,” “Jolene,” and “Islands in the Stream,” a number-one duet she recorded with the late Kenny Rogers.

Coming up for Parton is NBC’s annual New Year’s Eve special: She’s ringing in 2023 with her goddaughter Miley Cyrus on the program that’s set to air Dec. 31 live from Miami.
