Harry Styles cancels L.A. performances and reschedules his tour
“I’m so sorry to do it,” Styles said of postponing this weekend’s tour dates.
Due to the virus, Harry Styles’ performances this weekend have been canceled.
Following the cancellation of the band’s performance at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on Friday night, Styles announced additional modifications to his tour itinerary on Saturday, claiming that he is the one who is ill.
“Towards the end of the show on Wednesday I started feeling ill and I’ve been in bed with the flu ever since,” Styles wrote Saturday in an Instagram Story. “I’ve been doing everything I can to be able to sing tonight, but I’m leaving the doctor now and I’m devastated that it’s just not possible. Until very recently I haven’t had to postpone a show due to illness in the 12 years I’ve been touring. I’m so sorry to do it, and if there was any way I could do the show I would.”
I’m sorry to break this news so close to the start of the event, but it was my honest desire to be able to perform for you tonight, he continued. It means the world to me that a few of you have planned travels to Los Angeles to witness the play.
Styles announced that his performances on November 5, 6, and 7 had been moved to January 26, 27, and 29 in 2023. The rest will go according to plan, he said.
Through mid-November, he will remain at the Forum, where he has been performing as part of his Love on Tour mini-residency: The venue has currently set the remaining L.A. dates on November 9, 11, 12, 14, and 15. Find out when he will be on tour here.
Styles’ Love on Tour is in support of Harry’s House, his Billboard 200 chart-topper that features the hit single “As It Was,” which was No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for 15 weeks.
