“I Really Gotta Take a Break,” Megan Thee Stallion says after ‘SNL.’
The rapper is pulling double duty as host and musical guest on ‘Saturday Night Live.’
Megan Thee Stallion is “excited AF” for her SNL appearance but plans to take some time off afterward.
The rapper is in New York City, where he will serve as both host and musical guest on the show airing Saturday night (Oct. 15). TMZ said the day before that her Los Angeles house had been broken into and more than $300,000 in personal belongings stolen.
“Wow,” she tweeted Friday night, likely in response to the suspected crime. “Things made of material can be replaced, but I’m delighted everyone is safe.”
“Hotties, I’m so sorry, but after SNL I really need to take a break because I’m so fatigued, physically and mentally,” she added in her next tweet.
Saturday night will be Stallion’s first time hosting SNL, but his second time as the show’s musical guest. She sang her hits “Savage” and “Don’t Stop” as a musical guest in 2020. This time, she’s slated to perform songs from her sophomore album, Traumazine, which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 in 2022.
