According to a source, Leonardo DiCaprio and Gigi Hadid are ‘getting to know each other.’

Leonardo DiCaprio recently split from longtime girlfriend Camila Morrone after four years of dating

Leonardo DiCaprio may not be unmarried for much longer.

According to various sources, the Oscar winner, 47, and supermodel Gigi Hadid, 27, have been hanging out in New York City.

“They’re getting to know each other,” one source says, adding that the couple isn’t “dating” yet.

“Leo is certainly interested in Gigi,” a second insider claimed.

“They’ve been seen hanging out with groups of people. It’s just been a few weeks since the breakup. Since then, he’s been hanging out with friends and relatives,” a third insider says.

DiCaprio’s four-year romance with model/actress Camila Morrone just ended.

They first became romantically involved in early 2018 during a trip to Aspen, Colorado. In the years after, the couple has been photographed on romantic excursions all over the world, including on the beaches of St. Barts, at a soccer match in Paris, and spending time together in Malibu, California, and New York City. They made their public debut as a couple in February 2020, when they sat together in the first row of the Oscars.

Although DiCaprio and Morrone kept their personal specifics quiet, Morrone acknowledged in a 2019 interview with the Los Angeles Times that she was upset with the public attention accorded to the relationship, particularly the 22-year age difference.

“There are so many relationships in Hollywood — and in the history of the world — where people have large age gaps. I just think anyone should be able to date who they want to date,” she said.

Following their split, a source told PEOPLE that Morrone “is doing fine” and “has a big group of friends that really care about her.”

“She is moving on with her life. She is not in contact with Leo,” the insider added. Part of that group is fellow model friends Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber, who was seen out with the star on a girls’ night earlier this month.

Since their split, DiCaprio has been pictured in New York City, where Hadid resides with her daughter Khai, whom she shares with ex Zayn Malik.

Hadid and Malik are expecting their first child in September 2020. They divorced in October of the following year after an alleged incident with Yolanda Hadid, her mother-in-law.

“Gigi is only concerned with what is best for Khai, and she requests privacy during this time,” Gigi’s spokeswoman said in a statement.

Malik allegedly “grabbed [Yolanda] and shoved her into a dresser, causing mental anguish and physical pain,” according to court documents. Malik “adamantly” denied striking her, telling TMZ in a statement: “I hope that Yolanda will reconsider her false allegations and move towards healing these family issues in private.”

Malik, who pled no contest to the charges, must serve 90 days of probation on each of the four counts; he must also attend an anger management class and a domestic violence programme, and he is prohibited from contacting Yolanda.
