Obama scolded former White House physician Ronny Jackson for “cheap tweet” about Biden’s health
Ronny Jackson reportedly writes in his upcoming memoir that Barack Obama emailed him to “express my disappointment at the cheap shot you took at Joe Biden”
Former White House doctor Ronny Jackson claims that Barack Obama once sent him a severe email after Jackson shared a 2020 video in which then-presidential candidate Joe Biden apparently said he was a “candidate for the United States Senate.”
“Remember the cognitive test I administered to @realDonaldTrump? He nailed it! It appears that someone else may require testing!! Scary!! “From 2013 to 2018, Jackson, 55, worked as the president’s physician under both Obama, 60, and his successor, Donald Trump, 76.
Jackson reportedly writes in his new biography Holding the Line: A Lifetime of Defending Democracy and American Values, due out on July 26, that Obama emailed him about the tweet within 20 minutes.
“I have made a point of not commenting on your service in my successor’s administration and have always spoken highly of you both in public and in private. You always served me and my family well, and I have considered you not only a fine doctor and service member but also a friend,” the email allegedly read, per multiple outlets including CNN and The Independent.
“That’s why I have to express my disappointment at the cheap shot you took at Joe Biden via Twitter. It was unprofessional and beneath the office that you once held,” Obama added in the email.

According to reports, the former president labeled Jackson’s remark “disrespectful to me and the many friends you had in our administration.”
“You were the President of the United States’ personal physician as well as an admiral in the United States Navy. I expect more from you, and I hope that as you reflect on this, you will expect more from yourselves in the future “According to reports, Obama stated.
According to sources, Jackson wrote in his book, “Screw that guy,” alluding to Obama, about how he felt after the email: “I just walked away from it, which was the last time I had any interaction with [Obama].”
Biden has previously admitted to stumbling over words and has spoken openly about his early stuttering.
The former vice president, 79, dismissed a 2020 query about whether he had taken a cognitive test, which Trump, 76, thrust into the spotlight while bragging about his mental powers and insulting Biden.
“I haven’t taken any tests. Why on earth would I take a test?” Biden said this in a CBS News interview tape aired by CBS Mornings.
“Come on, man,” he said. “That’s like saying before you came on this program, you took a test to see if you were using cocaine or not. What are your thoughts? Huh? Are you a drug addict?”
“I am very willing to let the American public judge both my physical and mental fitness,” Biden said during the event.
Jackson’s book, “Holding the Line,” is set for a July 26 release.
